Please join us for one of Napa's most celebrated musical events. On Sunday, September 4, 2005, Friends of the Napa River presents the 15th Annual River Festival. This Labor Day weekend tradition continues with an afternoon boat parade, a performance by the Napa High School Marching Band, an evening concert on the banks of the river with the Napa Valley Symphony, delicious food, fine wine, and glorious fireworks.
Schedule: The festivities kick-off at 4 pm. The boat parade begins at 4:30, the Napa High School Band comes marching in at 5:30, the Napa Valley Symphony performs from 7 to 9 pm, and the fireworks explode at 9:05 pm.
Friends of the Napa River, along with our River Festival sponsors, are proud to provide this celebration in the heart of downtown Napa as our gift to the public. The River Festival is our signature event to advocate river-friendly living and our chief fundraising effort for the year. Proceeds from the event support the Friends’ mission of restoration, conservation, and responsible development of the river.
